SUMMARY:1st Annual Northern Colorado Piano Day
DESCRIPTION:Northern Colorado Piano Day is a free\, one-day educational event that brings together young pianists\, teachers\, collegiate musicians\, and families from across the region. Hosted by the Northern Colorado MTNA Collegiate Chapter at the University of Northern Colorado’s School of Music\, the event offers high-quality performance opportunities\, expert feedback\, professional development\, and community engagement in a supportive\, non-competitive environment. \nThrough festivals\, workshops\, demonstrations\, masterclasses\, and concerts\, participants engage in meaningful musical experiences that foster confidence\, artistry\, and lifelong learning. \n\nPiano Day Festival \nPre-college pianists perform two prepared works in a supportive\, non-competitive setting and receive individualized written feedback from experienced educators. Participants earn a Piano Day Certificate and may be selected to perform on the culminating Student Recital. \nStudent Registration →\nView Festival Details → \n\nPiano Day Masterclass \nSelected students work individually with Dr. Jenna Braaksma in a public masterclass focused on thoughtful musicianship\, technical efficiency\, and artistic development.
